« CINEPAGE » came into being because its founders wanted to share their passion for the cinema and discuss their reactions, emotions, and reflections.
We believe that, thanks to these exchanges and interactions, we deepen our appreciation of the cinema and this led us to create a NETWORK OF FRIENDS, which helps everyone to develop at their own rhythm.
Cinematographic images are very valuable as an initiation tool: discovering the Grand Masters of cinema is a wonderful way to understand the human race, its history and the great universal questions. The strength of symbolic images reveals how mankind lives and the reality that is not immediately discernable. We feel that it is important to encourage the interaction between art form and the individual.
When watching a film together or analysing a director’s approach, each of us develops their own personal interpretation and expresses this through writing articles and participating in debates.
Through the pleasure of our meetings and of seeing a good film, we can learn to live together and to understand our own life.
